We should hustle it, every single day.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eTorvi was born with \u003cb\u003eDown syndrome\u003c\/b\u003e, a genetic condition caused by having an extra copy of chromosome 21. People with Down syndrome have their own unique personalities, abilities, strengths, and challenges, just like everyone else. While Down syndrome can be associated with differences in learning, development, and certain health needs, it does not define who a person is or limit the love, joy, relationships, dreams, or contributions they can bring to the world.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eTorvi also lives with \u003cb\u003econgenital heart disease (CHD)\u003c\/b\u003e, a condition involving a structural difference in the heart that is present at birth. CHD is one of the most common types of birth defects. Some heart conditions are mild, while others require surgeries, procedures, medications, or lifelong medical care. Many children and adults with CHD grow, thrive, and live incredibly meaningful lives, even when their journey looks different from what we might expect.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eAnd that is one of the greatest gifts Torvi gives us.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eShe reminds us that \u003cb\u003edifferent doesn't mean less\u003c\/b\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eDifferent means we may learn to see the world from another perspective. Different means we may need to slow down, listen more carefully, make room at the table, and celebrate progress that others might overlook. Different means we have an opportunity to become more compassionate human beings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eTorvi inspires us to \u003cb\u003estand beside her, believe in her, include her, learn from her, and love her exactly as she is.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eHer story reminds us that every person has something valuable to teach us. Sometimes the greatest lessons don't come from words or accomplishments.
