What’s the real reason to have a blog? To show off your writing skills and how smart you are? To brag about your accomplishments? To overcome boredom during the pandemic?
I know nothing of this, but I do have a confession...I’m weird! Truly, unquestionably, seriously weird in my own mind. Maybe you are, too! Consider the following:
*Do you buy bananas, eat one then forget about the others? When they get overripe (black) do you throw them in the freezer thinking you’ll bake up some banana bread someday? Then when you need some room in the freezer for something new, do you just toss the frozen black bananas in the trash?
*When you open a new loaf of bread, do you pass over the heel and first slice of bread, then pull out the next slice or two...every time?
*Do you sometimes put ketchup on your tamale? Chile with beans? Cottage cheese?
*Have you ever sipped on the brine in the pickle jar? Drank directly from the milk carton or big bottle of OJ or juice? Had a big gulp of salad dressing out of the bottle?
*Are you a Broncos fan but sometimes secretly cheer for the other team?
* Have you ever bought something you didn’t want or need just because it was on sale?
*Do you have clothes in your closet or dresser with the tags still on?
*Have you tried all these French fry “dips:” Catsup? Mayo? Mustard? 1000 island dressing? Malt vinegar?
*Do you check out the areas with mark down items at the grocery store? Do you know where they located at Smith’s? Safeway West? Safeway East?
*Do you have a favorite place for hamburgers? Breakfast burritos? Chile rellenos? Tacos? Coffee? Cherry limeade?
*Have a favorite TV news reporter? Favorite series on PBS? Radio station? Broadway musical?
